More Mira Stash ....

Went to Acorns and Threads today (not so local LNS) to buy one ... ONE little floss of some Crescent colors to finish this flower I'm making ("Oh Happy Day", a freebie from SanMan Originals). I'm putting it on Silkweaver Reflections. I think it's going to be my first attempt at a flat-fold.

I ended up walking out with a few other Crescents and some Weeks Works flosses and then I got these ... Mira's "Fern" and "Ivy" and the fabric that's between the 2: 36 ct Belfast Linen in Antique Green (if you blow up the picture you can see it) that the lovely young lady at the LNS cut for me (my reader, Laurie by name :o) I was wandering through some of their bins looking for something to play with and found 'em, and we all know about my obsession w/Mira's.

I was thinking that if I were to get all of these they would look kinda cool in a quilt of some sort. You know, something like 2 X 3 of them with the fabric in between, kinda like a multiple picture frame. Or the little ones around the outside of one big one in the middle. Seems somewhat involved but hey, ya never know, right?!

Also picked up the latest JCS and also the JCS 2005 Ornament mag since they had a few laying around. Ya ever wander thru the LNS and think "Man, wouldn't it be cool if they had some sort of consignment and/or trade for patterns you're done with?!" I think it's a good idea. Might bring in more people that way, but hey, wadda I know, right?! :o)

Productive Valentine's if I do say so myself. Hope everyone's holiday was what you wished for.

I envy your trip to the LNS. That could be a dangerous place for me to visit right now!

I never leave Acorns and Threads without spending some substantial money LOL! I love their shop :) You know what’s funny? I was talking to the gals there about blogs and she mentioned yours to me, so I just thought I’d visit and say hi! :D You have some beautiful stitching here, and a lot of finishes recently, awesome for you!
