I'm back, and making something else now!

Here's Mira's Halloween Fairy. I traded my New Years Fairy chart and leftover floss to Jules @ Torkard Threads for her Halloween Fairy and floss. I got this in the mail on the 24th so this is 4 days of working on her. I'm putting her on 32 ct Silkweaver 'Rocky Mountain', they seem to go together well.

I tell ya, that living in the hotel ... for the birds. Hated every minute of it. I missed my 'stuff', ya know? I hadn't realized how attached to my stand and Ott Lite I am.

For the record, no, I wasn't sitting on the toilet when it fell. I came home to a horrible stench. Wanna see??? (the floor, not the stench :o) And before anyone asks, no, the termites did not cut that perfect rectangle in the wood. This is the part that had to be replaced, all the rest was fine.

This is the after. I've been here just over 7 yrs now so I got a whole new linoleum update too as the other stuff was so old they don't have it any longer. And I so miss the Salmon Sparkle wall paint with that pretty baby blue linoleum. ;o)

Hi Me! Is that photo really of you? Do the male taxi drivers have to wear it too??? Great progress on the Halloween Fairy, hope you've got enough threads to do it all (but probably not) Mirabilia are not very generous I've found. Him-in-Door's is very good at back rubs (big hands!) but he might be called upon to do more intimate stuff if this back carries on! All the mystery had gone from our relationship now he's had to put my knickers ON for me. I'm off again today. Take care, enjoy your new loo (English for toilet!) x

I think I smell a smoking needle at your place now. She looks great. I really should pull mine out and get her done. Esp since we are around the holiday Season. Your new bathroom (well at least the toilet) looks great.

Oh I have the chart for the Easter Fairy and Valenties Day too if you might want to trade for them....extra floss too. LMK.

Wow Halloween Fairy looks amazing! And I'm glad you're back in your own place. Hotels are only good when on vacation, not because you have to be there.

I am glad that everything is fixed now! That was a very unpleasant mess. You will be finished with Halloween fairy before you know it. She looks good. M, I just want to thank you for everything again-you didn't have too. But, I love it!

She's great :o) It looks like there's quite a bit of tweeding going on in that dress.

I would still be worried about falling through the floor again, even with the new works lol. Can you just imagine if you'd been sitting on it.

Your halloween fairy is fantastic - can't believe that you stitch that fast!

I agree with you about hotels - I'd rather just stay at home - much more comfortable.
