Instead of stitchin' ...

I made this scarf last night. The local yarn shop had this stuff for sale for 1.99$/skein, and they are SOOOO soft I had to have a couple. The brand is "Blush". No idea what I'd do w/'em but I HAD to have 'em.

This baby took about 3 hrs (just plain ol' double crochet and only 15 across), and it's about 6.5 ft. long. I've also come to realize that if I were to ever go blind - heaven forbid - that I would be still be able to crochet; this stuff is so fuzzy you can't SEE the stitches.

Sorry for the scan but J took the camera today. And again, I NEVER wear scarves, I just fall in love w/a yarn and want to make something w/it. So I did. Gawd, I LOVE being an adult!!

Cute! I love that feeling too, that I don't know what the heck I'm gonna do with it, but I want to make it. Love how fuzzy it is too!

That's pretty but just looking at it makes me want to itch.

Bah I'm getting old, and as I get older I'm getting allergic to more and more stuff. Argh. I remember the good old days when it was only astro turf and carpet tiles.
