Stargazer and lots'a pictures !

Update: as of yesterday. I finally finished the left part of the skirt. It took me awhile, jeez. I'm at ... like ... 20 days on this thing. :o) heh I can't get a full picture easily ... I am taking these pics with my cell phone (ex took the dig camera and I really don't see much reason to get a newer one :o) As always, blow it up, she looks better that way.

Ooooohh, lookkee what I got me in the mail today ... chart and all spec threads/beads. It came from ebay but the lady sent some u.g.l.y. fabric with it. Green. Eesh. Didn't go. I'll work out something else.

And I ended up on the other end of the city today and found a needlepoint shop and bought these ... um ... threads ... floss(es)?! I think. The top are Caron's so I know they're threads so I'm assuming the others are as well. I bought the Caron's just they were purdy, but I fell all over the pink/orange ones. They're so soft. Unfortunately they're discontinuing these at this store. But the nice lady told me there is a XS store about 2 miles from where I was at. I'll stop by there someday I imagine. There isn't any LNS's on my side o' town. :o( The closest is about 30 mins t'other side of town. *sigh*
Anyway ... happy day ladies!

I love the stargazer pattern. When I used to go to PDX regularly, there was a needlepoint shop downtown that sold a great selection of threads. Not many charts though.

Stargazer is looking stunning - she might be hard going, but she's certainly worth it! :) And those Soie Cristale threads are silks, and soooo scrummy to stitch with, very very soft mmmmm ;) You chose some very yummy colours!
